Gábor is a Budapest local who has guided international visitors through the city's bath culture professionally since 2022. By his own count he has now helped more than 1,000 travellers plan and enjoy a Hungarian bath day. His patch is the city's historic bath houses, Széchenyi and Gellért above all, along with the practical craft around them: which ticket to buy, which entrance actually works, what the etiquette expects of you, and how to enjoy a very old tradition comfortably.
Guests tend to describe the same two things: a calm, professional manner, and answers that come from having stood in the building rather than read about it. Whether someone wants a classic spa day or the deeper story of why this city bathes, his job is the same: make the visit easy, honest and worth the time.

How this site checks facts
Every figure on these pages stands on a source we can point to: the operators' live GetYourGuide listings, the baths' official sites, or primary Hungarian sources. Ratings and review counts are always the platform's own and are labelled that way. When a price is only shown inside a booking flow, we say so and link the live listing instead of printing a number that goes stale.
Gábor verifies inclusions, hours, ticket types and entry details against those sources as of each page's publish date, and pages get refreshed when the facts move. The clearest current example: Gellért closed for renovation on 1 October 2025 and is not expected back before 2028, so nothing on this site sends you there.
